TouchBase ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.
1. What we collect
The App has no backend server and requires no account. Contact information you enter or scan (name, company, title, phone, email, address, notes, tags, interaction history, etc.) is stored only locally on your device.
2. Camera & photos
- When you use the camera to scan a business card or QR code, the image is used for text recognition (OCR).
- When cropping a contact avatar, processing runs on-device via machine learning (ML Kit face detection); the image never leaves your device.
- Card photos are processed transiently; the extracted text fields and an optional avatar are stored locally.
3. Third-party sharing: Google AI (Gemini)
To extract business-card details and generate contact suggestions, the App sends card photos and related contact context to Google AI (Gemini, via Google Vertex AI) for processing. This is the only data-sharing scenario and is used solely for these features. Google's handling is governed by its own policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. Billing
Subscriptions (TouchBase Premium) are handled via Google Play Billing. We do not see or store your payment card details.
5. Notifications
The App can remind you locally to follow up with contacts. Notifications can be turned off at any time in system settings.
6. Permissions
- Camera: scan cards / QR codes, capture avatars.
- Notifications: follow-up reminders.
- Network: Google AI and Google Play Billing.
7. Security & deletion
- We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or include advertising/analytics SDKs.
- Contact data is stored locally; uninstalling the App deletes all data (there is no cloud copy).
- To delete your data, simply uninstall the App.

订阅（TouchBase Premium）通过 Google Play 结算完成。我们不接触、不存储你的支付卡信息。

本应用可在设备本地定时提醒你跟进联系人（通知权限可随时在系统设置中关闭）。
6. 权限
- 相机：扫描名片 / 二维码、拍摄头像。
- 通知：发送跟进提醒。
- 网络：调用 Google AI 与 Google Play 结算。
7. 数据安全与删除
- 我们不向任何第三方出售你的数据，不用于广告，不接入广告或分析 SDK。
- 联系人数据仅存本机，卸载应用即删除全部数据（无云端副本）。
- 如需删除数据，直接卸载应用即可。
